What is the difference between an air circulator fan and an electric fan?

2024-04-25

The differences between air circulator fans and electric fans are mainly reflected in the following four aspects.

1. Different working principles.

The electric fan converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, and uses the blades to discharge the air outwards, forming wind speed, making people feel the blowing wind. The air circulator fan uses the principle of air circulation. The surrounding air passes through the high-speed moving fan blades to form an air movement cycle, which continuously circulates and creates wind and air convection.

2. Different air utilization efficiencies.

The electric fan mainly blows the outside air directly to the surface of the human body, and then dissipates the body temperature into the surrounding air through the sweating process. The air circulator fan circulates air and sprays hot air in the room onto people to transfer heat and make the room temperature more uniform.

3. Noise, safety and comfort are different.

The electric fan may be noisy, and you may have difficulties to sleep when used during night; at the same time, the blades of the electric fan are sharp, careless use may cause safety hazards. The air circulator fan is almost silent, the fan blades are smooth and have no edges, which is safer; its aerodynamic design is also more reasonable, which can better make the human body feel cool and comfortable.

4. Different power.

Electric fans are relatively powerful; air circulation fans are smaller in power, but can have more high-tech configurations, such as our air circulator pedestal fan with voice command control, which has touch-sensitive buttons, remote control capability, and voice command feature, optimize your using experience to a greater extent.
